As a man, I am expected to turn my hand to many different tasks, not restricted to any one discipline. If I was able to be employed for my range of abilities (no matter how poor) I would be a rich man.
As it is, I try my best and get OK results but far from professional.
The recent interior project was painting the toilet and this has to be one of the most boring/time consuming jobs because of the tiny space and the fact you will see every inch of that tiny room when sitting on the bog.
Striping the paper was easy enough. I bought a steamer and it did a good job and left no paper behind on the walls +1 to me as it didn't take long. I had the door shut when I was doing this and had hot water dripping from every surface in the room, it was like a cheap sauna.
This was only the start though, I have come across many other things that are currently making my life hell with this room
Issues so far:
Sanding the walls multiple times to try to get them smooth, more marks become visible
I painted undercoat twice on the walls and with a solid colour on the walls you can see the glue (My wife preceded to berate me about this) which I have tried to remove.
I will stick up some pics of the process so far
